A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free (to a certain extent). We’ll move your web site(s) to our top–notch cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that switching hosting providers can result in lost info and unnecessary network downtime. That’s the reason why we will perform all that for you at no cost!We have highly proficient administrators whose sole job is to make certain that your web site functions precisely as it did on your former hosting platform. The administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–made web sites, as well as web sites that are based upon well–known scripts such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are a lot of aspects to keep in mind – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. That said, we do our best to accomplish all web site migrations in a 48–hour time window. Smaller–sized websites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel and the web site’s name (domain name).

A: While we move your site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. Once the transfer is done, we will make certain that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your web content is not compromised prior to informing you that the migration is complete. After that, we’ll tell you how to move the domain name over to your hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS settings.

A: While we transfer your content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will not touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. In essence, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
